A very vague ... You want high energy prices, high prey drive, high performance defense of a dog, dog or soft? Do not go to the races, because of its appearance, go to their personality, a dog whos best suits your lifestyle.
Westies are typical terriers, bold, intelligent and a true spirit of their own. If a man nonneutered probably forced a woman who will never choose to race, so there are not too territorial. I saw people in general only with which a Westie Westie. However, if you want something else, maybe in the Mastiff family, A English Bulldog also love other animals. Thanks

It depends on the personality of the dog when you hear a dog or not one of them.
You could avoid fighting dogs with high drives, but the dogs could get along. I suggest going to your local protection and control of dogs that need homes.
